About Rav Yitzchak Joshua

Rav Yitzchak Joshua was born in London. From an early age, he took a strong interest in science and studied both math and theoretical physics at the University of Cambridge. His study of physics kindled a strong interest in Judaism and after earning Cambridge’s equivalent of a Master’s degree, he decided to attend yeshiva in Jerusalem. Rav Joshua spent the next thirty two years learning with some of the top Talmidei Chachamim in Klal Yisrael. He eventually became a Rav at his first yeshiva, Machon Shlomo, where he teaches gemara, hashkafa, and mussar, and also acts as a personal counselor.
